The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

SafeSport Training

Below are instructions for SafeSport training, including the link for new users which allows them access to the USSF training catalog free of charge.  Note, though, that if a coach already has taken training in the past and has an account, they should log in here:  This is all broken down in the instructions as current users who use the new user link will run into issues.

Eastern NY Youth Soccer upholds the highest standards for participant safety by ensuring all adults engaged in our registered and affiliated programs comply with the most rigorous standards for background checks and abuse training.

We do this not just because it’s the law, but because it’s the right thing to do. Abuse prevention is now an integral part of our roles as youth soccer administrators, coaches, referees, volunteers and parents.

We understand these new requirements will necessitate additional steps for all involved, but our kids are worth the effort. Abuse in youth sports is more prevalent than most of us think – and it can happen in any town. We all need to “go the extra mile” to ensure our kids can enjoy the game in a healthy and non-threatening environment.

Therefore, every adult who may have the opportunity to have direct and unmonitored access to children must complete:

  • A comprehensive Background Check and Screening Process; and
  • SafeSport Trained – U.S. Soccer Federation training course and the annual refresher course.
