Director of Soccer
Position Summary
The Eastern New Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate, develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer among youth within our territory. ENYYSA is dedicated to offering the highest quality soccer education, player development, and programs while fostering sportsmanship, fitness, diversity, teamwork, and passion for the game.
ENYYSA is looking to create a new position, Director of Soccer that would report directly to the ENYYSA President. This individual would oversee all soccer programming and staffing of those programs. The goal is to develop and lead a team that can work on growing the game through expanded and enhanced programming and education, as well as promoting the game within our territory.

- Develop programs to reach non-traditional audiences such as camps, schools, Parks and Rec programs, refugee / immigrant communities
- Implement strategies to increase participation in statewide cup competitions and ODP
League Relations
- Disseminate information from USYS and USSF about developments, opportunities, and initiatives
- Regular consultation with member leagues to obtain feedback on ways ENYYSA can provide support.
- Work with local leagues to promote soccer in underserved areas of ENYYSA
- Support all levels of youth soccer, in particular recreation-level soccer.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability in programs/organization management.
- Ability to think strategically and develop and implement plans for growth.
- Ability to establish goals and lead a small staff in the attainment of those goals.
- Ability to manage several issues, projects, and events at the same time.
- Highly organized
- Knowledge of soccer and specifically the youth soccer landscape
Education
- College degree in business administration or a related field
