Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association proudly celebrates seven standout players who have earned selection to the 2025 ODP National Select Teams. Their dedication, skill, and leadership within the ODP program have set them apart, and they will now represent the region on a national stage.

Otoniel Umana Alvarez
2008 Boys – ENY South
A creative and dynamic attacking midfielder, Otoniel Umana Alvarez has earned his spot on the ODP 2008 Boys National Select Team through his vision, technical ability, and leadership on the field. His ability to control the tempo of a game, combined with his natural playmaking instincts, makes him a crucial asset. A standout for NY Hota and Walt Whitman High School, he consistently raises the level of play around him with his work ethic and determination.

Austin Sheehan
2008 Boys – ENY South
A commanding presence in goal, Austin Sheehan has established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the ODP program. His shot-stopping ability, composure under pressure, and relentless work ethic have earned him a well-deserved place on the ODP 2008 Boys National Select Team. A standout for Calhoun High School, his consistency and leadership continue to set him apart.

Jake Hobi
2009 Boys – ENY South
Jake Hobi has earned his selection to the ODP 2009 National Select Team through unwavering dedication and a high soccer IQ. A key figure in the Eastern NY ODP South Team, his tactical awareness and technical ability make him an invaluable presence on the field. His club experience with Long Island SC has helped shape him into an exciting prospect for the next level.

Nicholas Gentile
2010 Boys – ENY South
Poised and technically gifted, Nicholas Gentile has cemented his place in the ODP 2010 National Select Team with his skillful play and ability to control the midfield. His composure on the ball and keen sense of the game make him a playmaker to watch. Beyond his ODP success, he continues to refine his craft at St. Anthony’s High School and Barça Academy Pro NY.

Noah DeCicco
2012 Boys – ENY North
A rising star in the ODP 2012 National Select Team, Noah DeCicco has earned his spot through determination, strong performances, and a tireless work ethic. His ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball has made him one of the most promising young talents in the region. Based in Poughkeepsie, he also represents Cedar Stars Hudson Valley, where he continues to develop his skills at the club level.

Amelie Donzo
2007 Girls – ENY South
A fierce competitor with unmatched versatility, Amelie Donzo has rightfully earned her selection to the ODP 2007 Girls National Select Team. Her ability to adapt to multiple roles, combined with her tenacity and coachability, makes her a standout performer. She continues to refine her game with Asphalt Green, adding another layer of development to her already impressive skill set.

Maya Robbins-Pianka
2010 Girls – ENY South
Maya Robbins-Pianka, a dependable and driven goalkeeper, has been selected for the 2010 Girls National Select Team. She played and started every game as a freshman at Brooklyn Technical High School, demonstrating her consistency and resilience while helping lead her team to a historic third straight PSAL Championship. Known for her strong presence in goal, Maya continues to develop her skills with DUSC (Downtown United Soccer Club) as she competes at the highest level.
