July 13, 2016-The oldest continuous Premier League in the United States is the Eastern New York Premier League (ENYPL), now a 16-year-old league. As a new season approaches, the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is pleased to announce a new approach and continued improvements to the league for the new season.

ENYYSA’s new approach to the ENYPL competition includes: identifying the top scorers of each division, allowing coaches to identify the top 3 players of each game, and introducing a score keeper for home and away in every game. For each game, both teams will designate a score keeper who will be responsible for: providing the game roosters to the officials, confirming the final score with the referee, and identifying the 3 best players of the opposing team.

For those who like ENYPL, teams can enter into and play against many of the best squads in Eastern New York. Teams from Under-11 to Under-19/20, both boys and girls teams, will play eight to nine games. ENYPL offers flexible scheduling giving teams the opportunity to play in Division 1 in their home league and/or attend events such as tournaments and showcases. The Club Pass Rule (subject to home league permission) and Got Soccer registration system are other attributes of ENYPL. All for a nominal team registration fee of $200 (referee fees not included).

Registration closes on August 21 for the fall season and September 10 for the last fall season.
