New Referees Wanted

By Randy Vogt, Director of Public Relations, Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association

November 24, 2021-Has the team you coach or cheer on aged out of youth soccer yet you would still like to be involved with the game? Then become a youth soccer referee!

There are many great things that occur when you become a youth soccer referee including you learn to manage people, you are your own boss by going directly to the customer (players, coaches and leagues), you get (or stay) fit, you expand yourself by leaving your comfort zone plus you meet the greatest people on youth soccer fields, all while earning money. Becoming a youth soccer ref could be one of the best decisions you ever make!

Members are affiliated with nine leagues throughout the association, which covers the entire state of New York east of Route 81. ENYYSA exists to promote and enhance the game of soccer for children and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 19 years old, and to encourage the healthy development of youth players, coaches, referees and administrators. All levels of soccer are offered––from intramural, travel team and premier players as well as Children With Special Needs. No child who wants to play soccer is turned away.
