Eastern New York launches the ENYSoccer Mobile App

By Arthena Sherwood, Communications Associate, Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association

May 11, 2016-Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association has launched its mobile app this week on the Apple Store and Google Play. The ENYSoccer app offers soccer coaches, players, parents, administrators, and referees faster access to a great deal of information from Eastern New York.

The concept behind the app is to create a better experience for members by providing access to information they would normally have to search for on enysoccer.com. Parents of players in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) will find this app especially useful as they will have the option to receive notifications about the program or quickly find the time and location of their child’s next training session.

The ENYSoccer app features easy access to Eastern New York state competition brackets, a list of new coaching courses, sanctioned tournaments, and more. The app also features the winners of the “Face of ENY” social media contest which was held during April. “I think the ENYSoccer app is great,” said Melissa O’ Hara, 2004 Girls ODP North Team Admin, “Face of ENY” contest winner, and Capital United Premier Soccer coach. “It’s really helpful to have the ODP training calendar at my fingertips and the State Cup brackets only a click away!  I also love the ability to choose notifications for my ODP Region only!  Great job Eastern New York,” she stated.

Android users can download the ENYSoccer app here: http://bit.ly/24iMg7h; while IOS users can download the app here: http://apple.co/1TtZHWV.

With over 100,000 youth soccer players––both boys and girls––and more than 25,000 volunteers, the non-profit Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) stretches from Montauk Point, Long Island to the Canadian border.
