March 7, 2014-An “E” soccer coaching course is set for April 26 and 27 in Clifton Park.
“The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association
is very pleased to offer this course which will help our coaches advance in their coaching careers,” commented Eastern New York’s Director of Coaching Instruction Tim Bradbury. “The direct beneficiaries of their coaches’ newly-acquired knowledge will be the kids of the Capital District Youth Soccer League
as well as our other neighboring leagues.”
The US Soccer “E” Course is geared toward those candidates who plan on taking the “D” license and want to obtain a National “D” license status. Each candidate will be issued a certificate upon completion of the course.
This two-day course combines field and classroom instruction in intermediate coaching and teaching methodology. Links to all pre-course work will be provided via e-mail after registration. Please bring all your coaching certificates to the course.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, should dress for physical activity plus bring a soccer ball and plenty of fluids. The cost is $175 and you must upload a passport size photo when registering. The course takes place on Saturday, April 26 from 2:00 to 10:00 pm and on Sunday, April 27 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon, 6 Corporate Park Drive, Clifton Park, NY.
