East Hudson Youth Soccer League to Host 11th Annual Coaches Convention

March 13, 2013-The Long Island Junior Soccer League Convention was on March 8 to 10 and the Capital District Youth Soccer League Mini-Workshop will be held this Saturday, March 16. These large meetings to prepare for the kick-off of the Spring Season in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) conclude on Saturday, March 23 when the East Hudson Youth Soccer League (EHYSL) holds its 11th Annual Coaches Convention. The venue is Arlington High School on Route 55 in LaGrange.
 
 
The itinerary of important events:

"We at the East Hudson Youth Soccer League are very proud to have two outstanding clinicians at our 11th Annual Coaches Convention," commented EHYSL President Jim Purdy. "Tom Goodman is the former National Director of Coaching for US Youth Soccer and a US Soccer National Instructor while Manfred Kapper played for both the Austrian National Team and the legendary Cosmos soccer team. Manfred is currently an Eastern New York ODP Coach and member of the ODP National Staff plus both coaches hold US Soccer ‘A’ Licenses."
 
"I know that our league’s coaches will learn a good deal from these well-known clinicians. We have worked once again to make this year’s convention as informative as possible," concluded President Purdy.
 
Founded in 1976 with four clubs and 300 players, the EHYSL now has over 50 clubs and over 18,000 players participating in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties plus in Eastern Pennsylvania.
