Coaching Education Instructor

Coaching Instruction Position


Non-Profit organization seeks a responsible individual to work as a member of their coaching education team. Candidates should be professional, well organized, be comfortable working in Microsoft Office. Candidates should have a true passion for coaching education and the beautiful game of soccer. This position reports to the Director of Coaching Instruction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend all instructional staff training sessions.
  • Stay up to date on all course curriculums.
  • Complete annual staff training projects as assigned by DOCI.
  • Teach a minimum of 2 NSCCA and 2 USSF courses per year.
  • Teach at least one TOP Soccer course per year.
  • Teach a number of ENYYSA F license practical modules as assigned by DOCI.
  • Computer skills are a must, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter and finisher with great time management skills.
  • High level playing background is a plus.
  • Teaching degree and experience is a plus.


 Job Requirements:
  • Dedicated soccer enthusiast.
  • Minimum of USSF B license (completed after 2013), NSCAA Premier and US National Youth License.
  • Availability to teach courses on weekends and some week nights.
  • Must guarantee to teach a minimum of four courses per year as assigned by DOCI.
  • Live in or willing to travel to Upstate New York.
