Three players from Eastern New York have been invited to the U.S. Under-14 Girls National Team Identification Camp being held at the University of Portland. The players are: midfielder Shelby Fredericks (Massapequa Stars, Babylon, N.Y.); forward Kayla Cappuzzo (Albertson Fury, Merrick, N.Y.) and forward Taylor Kugler (Albertson Fury, Massapequa Park, N.Y.).

They are among 100 players in camp. Each of the four regions brought in 25 of its top players to the camp, which will run from July 31 through Aug. 6.
