Eastern New York director of coaching Michael Swanwick will present a classroom session at the U.S. Youth Soccer Association workshop in Fort Worth, Texas, Friday Feb. 26 from 10:45 a.m. to noon.  The 2010 US Youth Soccer Adidas Workshop, will be held Feb. 25-27 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas., where more than 3,000 soccer coaches, administrators, referees and enthusiasts are expected to attend. Swanwick's topic is "Teaching Principles of Group Defending.

“It is both humbling and exciting to be asked to present at the 2010 USYSA workshop in Fort Worth, Texas," Swanwick said. "After attending the presentations over the past several years, I have always come away refreshed; learning new and different ways to teach and/or approach the game. I just hope I can have the same effect on those coaches who attend my presentation.”
