ENYYSA's Taylor, Quinn To Play With U-23 WNT In Germany
Defender Brittany Taylor and midfielder Lorraine Quinn -- both graduates of the ENYYSA ODP program -- are heading to Germany. They will be traveling with the U.S. Women's Under-23 team to Germany to train and play several matches against the German U-23 and a women's Bundesliga team from May 16-24.
Taylor, who attends the University of Connecticut, hails from Campbell Hall, N.Y. Quinn, who is from Farmingdale, attends Duke University.
The U-23 team will play a friendly in Crailsheim against TSV Crailsheim May 20, followed by a game with the German U-23 side in Wangen May 22 and will finish with another as yet-to-be confirmed scrimmage May 24.
U.S. coach Bill Irwin will bring 18 players to Germany as he continues to prepare the team for the Nordic Cup in Sweden from July 15-21. The U-23 team is coming off a training camp in Portland, Ore. where it trounced the University of Portland, 7-1.
