Forward Gina DiMartino will be the lone Eastern New York player to train with the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team from May 12-27. The Massapequa, L.I. resident and Boston College striker is one of 26 players who will head to Clemson, S.C. to practice under coach Tony DiCicco.

The camp will be final preparations before CONCACAF qualifying begins in June. The team against the W-League Atlanta Silverbacks and several other scrimmages May 22, including another possible game against a W-League side.

The qualifying tournament that will take place in Puebla, Mexico, from June 17-28. At the tournament, the U.S. U-20 WNT will compete for one of three CONCACAF berths at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile. Other teams competing include Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Trinidad & Tobago.

The draw to determine the two groups will take place May 6 at the CONCACAF General Secretariat in New York City.

The 2008 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will feature 16 teams. Eleven countries have qualified thus far for Chile:

* Asia: China, Japan, North Korea

* Africa: Two berths TBD

* Europe: England, France, Germany, Norway

* CONCACAF: Three berths TBD

* Oceania: New Zealand

* South America: Brazil, Argentina

* Host: Chile
