ENYYSA Grant Application
|
Effective immediately, ENYYSA will review applications that come in from Leagues/Clubs regarding field repair and maintenance. This will continue until a total of $100,000 is distributed. To qualify for a grant, the league/club must show that field repair maintenance was completed with a paid invoice. The committee will review and provide a grant of 50% of the invoice/job up to a maximum of $5000. Grant requests will be reviewed monthly by the committee and dispensed after approval. |

Member Tryout Board Request
|
The Tryout Board is a member benefit provided by Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA). Please email all completed forms to the State Office at asherwood@enysoccer.com. Once submitted and approved for posting on our website, ENYYSA will email all players in the appropriate division.
All tryouts on the ENY website are emailed to every eligible registered player in the State. This a free service to our members that no one else can fully provide and there are no strings attached!
Member Tryout Board entries are removed after 8 weeks.
Emails will go out to players 2 times a week! |

2015 Region I Presidents Cup Official Roster
|
ROSTERS
It will be the responsibility of each State Association to provide the Region I Presidents Cup Chair a roster
for each team entered in the event. Under 12 Small Sided Age Group: No more than fourteen players on a roster.
Under 13 through the Under 17 Age Groups: may have a maximum of twenty-two (22) players on their team
roster and a maximum of eighteen (18) players on each game roster.
State Associations MUST supply a roster reflecting the players registered for the State level event, which the Region I
Presidents Cup Committee can use to determine compliance with the following:
1. A team must demonstrate continuity of rosters between the league and every level of the President’s
Cup competitions by maintaining a minimum of 9 players common to the roster of the team at every
level of the competitions. No player added to a team after the Regional competition is completed shall
be rostered on a President’s Cup team.
2. Rosters MUST be legible and signed by the State Association Registrar or designee
3. Players MUST be listed in alphabetical order, last name first
4. Jersey Numbers MUST be listed on the roster
5. All players will have a uniquely numbered jersey that matches the roster
6. NO team shall be allowed more than 14/18/22 players on its roster
7. Team Bench personnel (Maximum of four (4) people) can represent the team officials, e.g. coach,
assistant coach, manager, trainer) on the sideline. Team Bench badges MUST be worn and visible to
the Referees and Tournament Officials at al times while your match is going on. |

Young Referee of the Year
|
An individual may be nominated and selected as the Young Female Referee of the Year or the Young Male Referee of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments as a young soccer referee if the individual—
(1) was certified as a Federation referee during the seasonal year immediately prior to the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated;
(2) is certified or being certified as a Federation referee during the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated;
(3) during those two seasonal years, refereed games primarily for US Youth Soccer, a region, a State Association, or a member or team of any of those organizations; and
(4) did not reach 19 years of age prior to that August 1 immediately before the beginning of the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated.

Volunteer of the Year
|
An individual may be nominated and selected as the Volunteer of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments as a volunteer if the individual—
(1) was a volunteer for a State Association or a member of a State Association;
(2) is an excellent role model for the community beyond soccer;
(3) has favorable relations with other members of the soccer community;
(4) demonstrates a willingness to promote players and soccer;
(5) is a positive role model for all volunteers;
(6) is of sound moral and ethical character;
(7) through participation, has increased the opportunities for others to participate in soccer;
(8) has not previously received national or other significant recognition from US Youth Soccer for contributions to soccer, but is well known in his or her community and is a
true hero of grassroots soccer;
(9) has not received any compensation for the volunteer efforts.

Goal of the Year

A video clip submitted for the US Youth Soccer Goal of the Year Award must--
(1) be submitted only as such a clip and not electronically submitted;
(2) not be more than 60 seconds long;
(3) be of a goal that occurred during the seasonal year immediately prior to the seasonal year for which the clip is being submitted;
(4) be for a goal by a player of US Youth Soccer in the U6–U18 age groups.

Buddy of the Year
|
An individual may be nominated and selected as the TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments as a TOPSoccer Buddy if the individual, in carrying out the US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer program and its events and activities—
(1) has demonstrated patience, understanding, dependability, flexibility, and ability to adjust to ever-changing on-field situations;
(2) has proven to be an invaluable volunteer who facilitates the Program by filling many roles, including being a coach, a cheerleader, a role model, and assisting when needed with administrative responsibilities;
(3) has provided support, engaged players one-on-one, and modeled desired behavior in group play or off to the side of group play; and
(4) is cognizant of player safety while assisting, guiding, directing, teaching the game of soccer and its skills, and creating a fun and learning experience.

Coach of the Year
|
The individual shall be selected for extraordinary accomplishments as a soccer coach if the individual—
(1) coached for at least one season during the seasonal year immediately prior to the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated;
(2) is coaching during the seasonal year for which the nomination is being made; and
(3) coached and is coaching for US Youth Soccer, a region, a State Association, a member club/team of any of those organizations.
An individual may be nominated for any of the four Coaches of the Year awards, but may be selected by a State Association for only one Coach of the Year award for a year. The four nominations are listed below. Select only one category:
Coach of the Year – Girls Recreation
Coach of the Year – Boys Recreation
Coach of the Year – Girls Competitive
Coach of the Year – Boys Competitive

Administrator of the Year

An individual may be nominated and selected as the Administrator of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments in the administration of soccer if the individual—
(1) has been a soccer administrator for US Youth Soccer, a region, a State Association (including any of its territorial areas), or a member or team of any of those organizations for at least four seasonal years; and
(2) is not a member of the Board of Directors of US Youth Soccer during the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated.
